There is no "external physical alikeness" referred in  " Being in Image of God/ Creator" since God is Spirit ( spiritual qualities , attributes, character) , Truth, Immortal and Eternal, all Intangible constituents : thus Spirit soul Breath energy, Truth and Awareness is in Sentience irrespective of species, region, age  , gender.
